Walgreens 2023 Brand Book

In 2023, I had the opportunity to reimagine Walgreens visual identity and provide art direction for the brand book. The brief was to redefine Walgreens creative identity to be more in line with Walgreens brand purpose and vision — to create “more joyful lives through better health” and become the leading partner in reimagining local healthcare. To achieve this, I approached color, typography, photography and illustration through a new lens — one that is warm, welcoming, and unapologetically human.

My involvement in the brand book was focused on choosing a new primary and secondary typeface for the brand. I collaborated on refreshing the brand color palette. Shifting from a dominantly blue/red brand to a more neutral palette overall. A HUGE change for a 100+ year-old company.
